Well the first week of spring is almost over, its been a great week as far as the weather goes. I feel that now I can relax because the threat of snow is…no longer a threat! There is a new threat on the horizon, Obama and the health care reform. I work in a dental office, the reform won’t have too big of an affect on work but it will affect me as a tax payer. Nancy,Nancy,Nancy…what were you thinking when you said “let’s just pass this bill then we will worry about what it says”…are you kidding me? Everyone up on Capitol Hill must have shit for brains. Everynight I watch the news and I don’t know if to laugh or cry. Has it always been such a joke or am I just getting older? I meet and talk with a lot of different people daily, different in many ways. Its very interesting to hear their views on the going ons of Washington D.C.
Have you heard of Gerald Celente? I have just begun reading his blog and Wikipedia had a bit on him. I don’t know enough to form an opinion. I need to educate myself.

Squirrel Thieves

Over by my office, the neighborhood is “bad” drug dealings, fights, homes getting broken into, cars being stolen…Friday I walked over to the CVS and I noticed that the local Police were on bicycles, and there were 3 of them!  I have worked in the same building for over 20 yrs. The neighborhood has always been bad.  But now there is an influx of gang activity.  I moved away from Waldorf in Oct. 2009.  I love my new home but I am saddened by what Waldorf/ST. charles has become.

Now…onto something not so grim…those DAM SQUIRRELS…LOL

We have so many groups of squirrels here at our woodland retreat
During the winter I did put corn out for them so that way they left the birdfeeders alone. They were all living and eating happily. Now the squirrels have become LAZY. They don’t want the corn…they want the delectable sunflower seeds. Oh…Joel Olstein on. Husband and watch him on Sunday morning…he is a smooth talker. I do not mean any disrespect now, he just has a way of telling a story and tying it in with the Bible, I do enjoy listening to Joel…seems there are quite a few people enjoy listening to Joel. Google “Joel Holstein” and you will see the empire he has built.

St Charles and the St charles Town Center Mall have been the draw that has taken Waldorf into the gutter. If your thinkning of moving here…DON’T!!  the schools are over crowded, the neighborhoods have become Ghetto-Hoods…If you have any self respect or a family don’t move into St.Charles Maryland.  I know 1st hand.
My hometown is Waldorf,MD. I have lived, loved, laughed there. Made lifelong friends in that wonderful town. But all things change and Waldorf is changing. There’s been a huge population explosion and with that comes crime …thefts, crimes against women, drugs and there’s been gang recruiting
Its not safe to go to our local mall in the evenings and never go alone
Last weekend a 30 yr. Old woman was abducted in Alexandria VA, brought back to Pinefield neighborhood in Waldorf and raped by 8 men. She was finally able to escape and the men were arrested. It suspected that they’re all here illegally. To read more on this Google search “woman raped in Waldorf ”
It sad that my nice, clean, safe. Hometown has become a very scarey place.

I have my pain management Dr. apt this week.  He is such a nice & caring Dr.  I hurt my back initially in my teens after a fall from a horse.  but being a youngster I healed quickly and was in and out of the hospital in a weeks time.  I was not able to go back to school for about 3 months and had to get a home tutor.  Fast forward 5 years and boys had entered the picture and the horses fell to the wayside.  My boyfriend was driving my car and we were involved in an accident,  a very bad accident.  The car flipped 3 times end for end and I was ejected from the car.  I broke my back,  my arm, my jaw on both sides and had internal injuries.  My boyfriend walked away…unhurt!  Since then I’ve been through a bevy of Dr’s had 2 more surgeries, a series of nerve blocks…they did help with the discomfort.  But Rx pain meds and PT will be a part of my being from now until the day I move on…

Do any of you have severe back pain that requires daily (Rx)  pain medications?  One thing about the meds I take, they have a stigma attached to them.  My sister got very mad at me because I would not give her any.  Thus began the rumors spread by her…its been awful.   I DO NOT tell anyone what I am taking, why would I?  But I would have never in a million years think that my own sister would turn on me.  I don’t confide in anyone about anything.  I surly do miss that feeling of being close to someone.  Have any of you experienced this?  I am glad that I am a strong person.  With the help of a psychiatrist and my faith I overcame the hurt rumors caused and as time passed the truth about my sister and her street drug habits (un-known to the family)  and life goes on…
